Election of Directors

The term of three members of the INTDS Board of Directors will expire in the fall of 2010. Society members are required to elect new directors to the Board.

The ballot papers will be distributed (by e-mail) to current Society members in May.

Ballots should be returned to the chair of the Nominating (and scrutineers) Committee by post or by e-mail before 31 August 2010 (the return address will be on the ballots).
Ballots can also be handed to the Nominating (and scrutineers) Committee during the 25th INTDS conference in Vancouver, during or before the membership business meeting.

The Nominating Committee (K. Eberhardt – Chair, D. Steski and C. Stodel) presents a selection of five candidates for your consideration but members are free to vote for any other INTDS Member, if the candidate agrees and can comply with the obligations of a Board member (see by-laws). The candidates written agreement signed by the candidate has to be submitted to K. Eberhardt - chair of the Nominating Committee - together with ballot.

The candidates selected by the Nominating Committee (in alphabetical order):

Bacri, Charles-Olivier (IPN, Orsay, France )

Lommel, Bettina (GSI, Darmstadt, Germany)

Morrall, Paul (CCLRC, Daresbury, UK)

Yoshida, Atsushi (RIKEN, Saitama, Japan)

Zeisler, Stefan (TRIUMF, Vancouver, Canada)

When making your final selection of the new directors (max. 3) please keep in mind that directors should reflect the diverse geographic nature of the INTDS membership.
