It is with great pleasure to express our sincere gratitude to the Local Organizing Committee from Oak Ridge National Laboratory for hosting a successful 31st conference of the International Nuclear Target Development Society (INTDS). The conference was held in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee, August 2024. Delegates enjoyed a fully packed scientific program, which covered most aspects in targetry for various applications. Thematic sessions for the INTDS2024 included facility capabilities, stripper foils and their replacement, target fabrication using techniques involving electrochemistry, physical vapor deposition and rolling. As part of the social activities, delegates had an opportunity for site seeing the beautiful Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg where we concluded the day with a dinner there. Thank you for affording us an opportunity to visit Oak Ridge National Laboratory as well.
